SEN Teaching Assistant

Classroom Support are excited to be working with a SEN school in Gravesend who are looking to recruit several experienced SEN Teaching Assistants required to start all year round. This is at multiple sites around Gravesend working from EYFS up to Higher Education POST 16 settings.

The school support children and young adults across both Primary and Secondary settings with ASC, PMLD and moderate to severe learning difficulties. The environment and grounds are outstanding, and they also have a College site based in Gravesend nearby that Teaches life skills.

The school is made up of 5 different sectors and has several vacancies. If you have any of the below experience, I would love to hear from you.

The positions will start on a temporary basis with the possible option of going permanent after a set number of weeks working through Classroom Support.

Please see below the requirements for the roles. Please note candidates with a Personal Care/Nursing or Support Worker background are also considered.

The pay rate is £90+ per day dependant on experience.

Experience supporting students within SEN school’s or candidates with strong experience of Autism or MLD and SLD is preferred.

Being of a kind, caring and compassionate nature.

Must have or be willing to arrange for a DBS and register it on the update service if you do not already have one.

Comfortable with basic Personal Care is a requirement for the younger age classes.
