Year 1 Teacher - Maternity Cover Full Time | October 2026 - July 2027

Location:

Gravesend, Kent We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Year 1 Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover contract from October 2026 until July 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to work within a supportive and welcoming school community, helping our children develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning during this important stage of their education.

The successful candidate will:
Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge all learners Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning development Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Be committed to ensuring all children achieve their full potential Work effectively as part of a collaborative staff team Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues We can offer:
