Food Technology Teacher – Full‑Time – September Start – Kent

£174‑£271 per day

We are recruiting on behalf of Meopham School for a Food Technology Teacher to join their team from 1 September. This full‑time, temporary position runs until the October half‑term, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and practical lessons that inspire students to develop their culinary skills, creativity and understanding of nutrition and food preparation.

This role includes planning, preparation and marking.

• Daily rate: £174‑£271, dependent on experience

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply
• Has experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
• Can deliver engaging practical and theory‑based lessons
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Is committed to helping every student achieve their potential
• Will have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or will apply for one
