Maths Teacher
Location: Gravesend, Kent
Salary: £120 - £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term

If so, GSL Education Kent would love to hear from you. We have a fantastic opportunity for a committed Maths Teacher to join a well-established academy located in Gravesend. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students to develop strong problem‑solving abilities and a lasting appreciation for numbers and logical reasoning.

Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well‑planned maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Build student confidence and develop strong numeracy and problem‑solving skills
- Utilise assessment data to track progress and provide targeted intervention where needed
- Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Mathematics examinations
- Ensure a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection; satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced child DBS on the Update Service
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics
- Have experience teaching Maths at secondary school level, including Key Stage 4
- Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks
- Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
