Cover Supervisor – Full Time Daily Supply

Are you confident leading a classroom and keeping students engaged in the absence of the class teacher? Do you have experience working with young people in an education or youth work setting? Are you looking for the flexibility of full‑time daily supply work across a variety of welcoming secondary schools?

Teacher Active is working with a range of secondary schools across the Gravesend area, including co‑educational schools, grammar schools and secondary academies. These schools have strong local reputations for delivering high‑quality education and provide supportive environments where staff are valued and encouraged to make a positive impact.

The successful Cover Supervisor will confidently deliver pre‑planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, encourage student engagement and quickly build positive relationships with pupils across a variety of subjects.

• Previous experience working with young people in an education or youth work setting
• Experience supporting students within a classroom environment
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Confidence leading classes using pre‑set lesson plans
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build immediate rapport with students
• A Bachelor's degree or subject specialism would be advantageous but is not essential
