Teacher Active is proud to be working with a specialist SEN school based in Gravesend, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Cleaner. The school provides a supportive learning environment for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), where maintaining clean, hygienic and safe facilities is essential to the daily running of the setting.

The school is looking to take on a reliable Cleaner on a long-term, part-time basis, working 15 hours per week. The successful Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the school are clean, safe and hygienic, carrying out general cleaning duties and restocking cleaning supplies as required.

The successful Cleaner will have:

An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one

Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar environment

Knowledge of health and safety procedures and safe cleaning practices

Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Good time management and organisational skills

A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach
