Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

The RoleAs a Senior Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, you will support and lead a team to deliver multiple projects, ensuring designs meet agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards. You will play a key role in both technical delivery and team management, contributing to business growth and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the Mechanical team across multiple projects
- Produce and review schematics, drawings, and designs using AutoCAD/Revit
- Ensure compliance with UK standards, CDM regulations, and best practice
- Carry out and review engineering calculations
- Coordinate designs with other disciplines
- Attend client meetings, workshops, and project reviews
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Respond to RFIs and technical queries effectively
- Support business development and identify new opportunities
- Provide line management and performance oversight of team members
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- ACIBSE (MCIBSE desirable)
- Strong experience in building services design (8+ years or relevant combination)
- Proven project leadership experience
- Advanced knowledge of CAD/Revit and UK design standards
- Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
