We are recruiting for an experienced CAD Manager to support the Lower Thames Crossing – Kent Roads infrastructure project.
This is a senior CAD position working closely with Engineering Surveying, Engineering and Design teams, with responsibility for ensuring the correct CAD and survey information is processed, controlled and issued in accordance with project standards.

The Role
The CAD Manager will be responsible for:
Overseeing Engineering Survey CAD operations
Managing the production and delivery of survey CAD data
Developing and maintaining CAD standards, procedures, best practice and workflows
Ensuring CAD deliverables meet project and client specifications
Liaising with Design, Engineering and Survey teams to ensure accurate information reaches site
Working with the Survey Manager and Utility Coordinator to ensure subsurface and utilities data is correctly recorded and represented
Improving the use of setting-out CAD data by site teams
Managing CAD software licences, upgrades and associated hardware
Providing technical guidance, training and support to project staff
Ensuring compliance with quality standards, industry regulations and client requirements
The role has a particularly important interface with subsurface CAD data used for safe working and permit-to-dig activities.
### About You
We are looking for someone with:
5+ years' experience within CAD/survey data management
At least 2 years' supervisory or management experience
Strong experience processing and delivering survey data in multiple CAD formats
Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM processes and protocols
Expertise with AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station or similar
Previous experience working on construction/infrastructure projects
Knowledge of relevant design documentation standards and regulations
Strong organisational and communication skills
Degree in Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology or a related discipline preferred
Rate: £55 per hour
This would suit an experienced CAD Manager, Survey CAD Manager, CAD/BIM Manager or Senior CAD Coordinator with a strong civil engineering, highways or major infrastructure background
