Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Asbestos Analyst, Surveyor, or Dual-qualified professional. Based in Meopham, Kent, our work is generally in London & surrounding areas. Day-to-day responsibilities will include carrying out asbestos air monitoring, 4SC & asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.

Qualifications
  • Relevant industry qualifications such as BOHS P403/404 (Asbestos Analysis) and/or P402 (Buildings Surveys and Bulk Sampling), or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience in asbestos air monitoring, bulk sample analysis, or conducting management/refurbishment/demolition surveys in line with UK legislation and guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail, data recording, and report-writing skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and accurately.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices, risk assessment, and safe working procedures in laboratory and site environments.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites across the region as required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage workload effectively, and maintain high standards under time pressures.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and electronic reporting systems; familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO/UKAS requirements) is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in environmental consulting, building surveying, or a related field is advantageous, but candidates with strong technical aptitude and relevant training will be considered.
