Accounts Assistant

JMF Associates is seeking a highly motivated Accounts Assistant for our SME client based in North Kent. This role starts on a temporary basis but can become permanent in the medium/long term. Reporting to the Finance Director, this pivotal role involves supporting the finance team with daily accounting tasks, managing invoices, processing transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles within a Commerce & Industry environment.

You will be expected to work efficiently, maintain attention to detail, and contribute to the smooth operation of the finance department.

• Experience as an Accounts Assistant with strong Accounts Payableskills
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
