FP&A Manager

FP&A Manager Leicester | Up to £90,000 plus bonus and benefits | Hybrid working BTG Recruitment is partnering with a growing, private equity backed wealth management business to recruit an experienced FP&A Manager. This is a high profile role offering the opportunity to influence senior leadership and Board level decision making during an exciting period of growth, acquisition activity and business transformation.

You will lead a small FP&A team and support key areas of the organisation, providing the insight needed to improve performance and inform strategic decisions. The role Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
• Producing financial models for strategic projects and investment cases
• Analysing revenue, costs, profitability and business performance
• Monitoring key wealth management metrics, including assets under management, net flows, revenue per client and margins
• Providing clear commercial insight to senior stakeholders
• Preparing Board reporting and supporting investor updates
• Managing and developing a small team
• Improving reporting processes and identifying opportunities for automation
• Supporting wider finance and business transformation projects The ideal candidate You will be a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with strong FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering experience. Specific wealth management experience is essential for this appointment. The business needs someone who understands the sector, its commercial drivers and the key measures used to assess performance. General financial services experience without direct wealth management exposure is unlikely to be sufficient.

You should also have:
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
• A sound understanding of the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Experience presenting financial information to senior stakeholders
• The confidence to influence and challenge constructively
• Previous experience managing or developing others
• A proactive and commercially focused approach
• The ability to operate effectively in a growing and changing environment

Experience with in a private equity backed, acquisitive or transforming business would be advantageous, as would exposure to investor reporting, Power BI or large ERP systems. What is on offer
