This part-time Hairdresser role is an on-site position based at Tiffany Frances salon in Gravesend. The Hairdresser will perform day-to-day tasks including hair cutting, styling, and care services for a variety of hair types and preferences. Responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their needs, recommending suitable styles and treatments, and ensuring an excellent customer experience from arrival to departure. The role involves maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting colleagues during busy periods.
The Hairdresser will also help with scheduling, product recommendations, and promoting salon services.
- Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling and Hair Cutting skills for a variety of lengths, textures, and styles.
- Candidates should possess solid Hair Care and Cosmetology knowledge, including treatments, products, and hygiene standards.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service abilities, including active listening, clear communication, and a professional demeanor.
- Relevant cosmetology or hairdressing certification or license, in line with local regulations.
- Previous experience working in a salon or similar customer-facing environment is preferred.
- Ability to work part-time hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
