Retail Cleaner

Overview

Let’s keep Sainsbury’s Clean. Arcus is recruiting a part‑time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsburys Pepper Hill store on a permanent basis. 17 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.71. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 14:00-17:00
• Monday: 14:00-17:30
• Tuesday: 14:00-17:30
• Wednesday: 14:00-17:30
• Thursday: 14:00-17:30
• Friday:
  Day Off
• Saturday:
  Day Off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

• Operate cleaning machinery as required
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
• Cleans toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies as needed within stores
• Maintain trolley bays and outdoor areas, keeping them clear of leaves and debris
• Apply health and safety procedures at all times

Arcus will support you through full training.

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be supplied
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
• Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App used for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
