Transportation Planning Manager

We are looking for a sales‑driven Transport Planning Manager to join our expanding operation in Gravesend, Kent. This role is ideal for someone who can manage daily transport tasks while actively growing the business through their own customer relationships and a reliable subcontractor network.

• Plan, schedule, and manage daily transport operations efficiently
• Drive sales growth by developing and expanding your existing customer base
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors to secure capacity and increase load volume
• Confidently use Haulage Exchange for placing, tracking, and managing loads
• Oversee routing, vehicle allocation, and cost control
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet operational and commercial targets
• Ensure all transport operations remain compliant with relevant legislation

• Minimum 1 year of experience in transport planning
• Transport Manager CPC is highly favourable
• Must bring an existing customer base
• Strong relationship‑building skills with both customers and subcontractors
• Sales‑focused mindset with the ability to convert opportunities into revenue
• Highly organised and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
