Trainee Bodyshop Prepper

Our client, a reputable accident repair centre based in Northfleet, is seeking a dedicated Trainee Bodyshop Prepper to join their established team. • Competitive hourly rate starting at 12, dependent on experience
• Full-time hours, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime (additional 1 hour daily)

• Prepare vehicles meticulously, including masking, sanding, and vehicle preps
• Carry out polishing and paint correction to meet quality standards as a Trainee Bodyshop Prepper
• Support alloy wheel refurbishment and SMART repairs if qualified
• Assist with finishing processes, ensuring high-quality vehicle presentation
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
• Support team in meeting departmental deadlines
• Ensure vehicles are thoroughly prepared before leaving the workshop

• Practical experience in vehicle masking, polishing, and paint rectification preferred
• Knowledge of SMART repairs and alloy wheel refurbishment advantageous
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to high standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible attitude towards work hours, including occasional overtime
• Previous experience within an accident repair or bodyshop environment is desirable but not essential, as training is provided
