As a Band 5 Ward Nurse, you will join our valued Neuro Stroke Team on Sapphire Ward at Gravesham Community Hospital. This is a rewarding opportunity to support patients recovering from stroke and neurological conditions, helping them regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Sapphire Ward is a specialist 21‑bed neurological rehabilitation unit where you will work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised, patient‑centred care.

You will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, building meaningful relationships with patients and their families while making a genuine difference to their recovery and quality of life. Whether you are newly qualified or looking to further develop your clinical skills, you will join a supportive team environment where learning, development and collaboration are actively encouraged.

We currently have a full‑time opportunity available, working 37.5 hours per week.

In this role, you will contribute to the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care for patients with stroke and a wide range of neurological conditions. You will work closely with therapists, healthcare assistants, medical colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care that supports recovery and rehabilitation. You will be responsible for maintaining high clinical standards while ensuring patients and their families feel informed, supported and involved throughout their care journey.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist rehabilitation nursing skills within a supportive and experienced team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering safe, effective and compassionate patient‑centred care
