Construction Services Technician-Experienced

Job Overview

We are hiring a Full Time Experienced Construction Services Technician, based in Gray, Maine, to work on construction projects in southern & western Maine and northern New Hampshire. The role involves construction materials testing and inspections (field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt, etc.).

• Perform field testing and laboratory testing of construction materials.
• Collect, handle, and transport material samples up to 75 lbs on uneven ground.
• Interpret project specifications, plans, and instructions.
• Operate company equipment safely and use proper communication signals.
• Support team environment and pursue professional development including certifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate’s degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  ACI Concrete Testing Grade I, NETTCP, ICC General Requirements and Special Inspections, and Nuclear Densometer Certification.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification within one month of hire (paid and provided).
• Valid driver's license and active personal auto insurance.
• Basic math skills and effective verbal and written communication.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; employer will not sponsor visas.
