Permanent School-Year Substitute – Russell School

The Gray-New Gloucester Russell School is seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional to join our hard‑working team of K‑2 educators.

Applicants should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to cultivate positive relationships with students and staff, consistently demonstrate flexibility, be willing to problem‑solve, and have strong classroom management skills.

This position would provide coverage for our K‑2 staff members (teachers, ed techs, and secretary) when absences occur.

Compensation will be $150 per day. Schedule is 8:30‑3:30 Monday‑Friday.

Applicants must hold a current State of Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check prior to employment. Experience is preferred but not required.
