- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- CCT or equivalent
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
- Values in line with NELFT’s values
- Innovative, motivated, and passionate about baby, children, and young people health care
- Essential understanding of current developments in community paediatric care
- Team player
- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to babies, children and young people across South West Essex
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the local Child Protection rota
- Support peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
- Work alongside 5wte Consultant Paediatricians, 3.8wte Specialist Grade Doctors, and 1wte Specialty Doctor within the service
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies
