Salary: £35,898 – £53,990

About the SENDCo role:

Lead and oversee all SEND provision as the school’s dedicated SENDCo

Work closely with teachers, support staff and external professionals to ensure strong collaboration

Take responsibility for EHCPs, annual reviews, interventions and SEND strategy

Provide guidance, coaching and training to staff to help develop effective inclusive practice

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies to support holistic progress

What the school is looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status with the national SENDCo qualification (or working towards it)

Strong understanding of SEND legislation and high-quality SENDCo practice

Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills

A supportive, solution-focused approach centred around pupil needs

Experience working as a SENDCo or in a similar SEND leadership capacity
