Teaching Assistant
Pay Scale:
Band A, Point 4 (£16,190 actual salary)
Hours:
25 hours per week, 45.8 weeks per year
(Includes one additional paid week after 5 years of service)
Start Date:
As soon as possible
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist school to appoint committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in partnership with class teachers, supporting pupil learning and development.
The role will involve supporting pupils within the classroom environment and may include whole-class support and/or 1:1 support for individual pupils, depending on need.
Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable but not essential, as training and professional development will be provided.
