Band 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP

We are currently recruiting experienced Band 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) to join a busy clinical service. This is an excellent opportunity for an autonomous practitioner who is confident assessing, diagnosing and managing patients presenting with minor illness and minor injuries.

As a Band 7 ANP, you will work autonomously within your scope of practice, providing high-quality assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients.

You will need to demonstrate strong clinical decision-making skills and be confident working independently within a fast-paced environment.

• Registered Nurse with the NMC and extensive relevant clinical experience
• Top to Toe Health Assessment Needs Module
• Minor Illness and Major Injuries Module
• Ability to assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients presenting with minor injuries
• Competent in referring patients for X-ray and interpreting X-ray results
• Suturing and suture/staple removal
• IR(ME)
  R / Red Dot Training
• General wound care
• Administration of medication via IM and SC injection
• Sepsis Training
• NHS Smartcard holder
• Experience using Systm One or Rio patient record systems

• Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP) - with an expectation of working under PGDs
• Phlebotomy / Venepuncture
• Plastering

We are looking for an experienced ANP who is confident working autonomously and can demonstrate excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.

You will have a strong understanding of patient safety, safeguarding and clinical governance, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while managing your own clinical caseload.
