Assistant Showroom Manager

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Showroom Manager to join a premium furniture retail business at its Lakeside showroom.

This is a sales-focused leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the showroom floor, building strong customer relationships, driving sales and helping a team achieve ambitious targets.

• Drive showroom and individual sales performance against targets.
• Deliver a premium, consultative customer experience from initial enquiry through to sale.
• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their needs to recommend appropriate products.
• Manage customer enquiries, quotations and orders through to completion.
• Coach and motivate the showroom team to maximise sales performance.
• Lead by example and support a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Assist with the day-to-day running and presentation of the showroom.
• Handle customer issues and complaints professionally.
• Support the Showroom Manager and take responsibility for key management duties in their absence.
• Ensure showroom procedures, product information and operational standards are maintained.

• Strong experience in premium or luxury retail.
• Premium furniture retail experience is highly desirable.
• A proven sales and target-driven background.
• Previous leadership, supervisory or team management experience.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• A natural ability to coach, motivate and lead by example.
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• The resilience and initiative to work at pace and manage competing priorities.
• Good computer skills and professional presentation.

This is an opportunity to combine hands-on premium sales with showroom leadership, working closely with the Showroom Manager and playing a key role in the commercial performance of the showroom
