ADR HGV Driver

Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver – West Thurrock, Essex – £Competitive plus overtime and bonuses – PERMANENT, EMPLOYED POSITION

Unitruc Logistics Limited is a family run trucking company and proud of it; we have a more personal feel to our business and look after our staff. We have an exciting opportunity for a Class 1 ADR HGV Driver to join their friendly team.

The work is consistent i.e. it is a full time, permanent job with weekly pay and your own allocated truck.

• Pay is weekly
• 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays per year

• Training where necessary

• You will be delivering a variety of chemicals throughout the UK
• You will be given a minimum of a week’s training, and more dependent on experience
• This position is for a driver that wants the opportunity to experience all walks of ADR Tanker driving, from local deliveries with regular GP tankers to loads to edges of the UK with specialist tankers
• You will be given your own truck
• Salary will vary dependant on overtime, there is various weekend work available to bolster your salary
• Hours are as and when required, dependant on the customer’s needs (within tachograph and WTD rules)
• You must fill up their ad-blue and diesel at the end of the week
• Nights out are required

• Valid Class 1 Drivers licence
• Valid Digital tacho
• Up to date CPC Card
• All categories on your ADR are required, other than 1 & 7
• Must be keen, efficient and have sound safe working practices
• Able to ‘night out’ at any point in the week

Safe and fuel-efficient driving is rewarded as is care of your truck, either with monetary bonuses or in the form of a newer truck when the fleet is updated!
