Qualifications &
Experience:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for school social work credentials
- Previous experience in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators
- Knowledge of crisis intervention, behavioral management, and relevant community resources
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create intervention plans and support student success
- Lead or participate in team meetings, IEPs, and case conferences as needed
- Connect students and families with external resources and support services as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services provided
- Promote a positive school climate through advocacy and preventive programming
This contract role offers 30 billable hours per week, with consistent scheduling from 8am to 2pm, ensuring work-life balance and stability. You’ll have the chance to make a tangible impact in a tight-knit school community while enhancing your experience in a rewarding, supportive field.
