Fleet Training Specialist (Project Management) Job Summary
The fleet training specialist is responsible for developing and conducting driver training courses to a wide range of Medline employees, coordinating and conducting training and coaching activities to ensure the safety of team members.
Major Responsibilities- Develop and deliver training content to drivers, supervisors, and managers. Deliver hands‑on driver training within assigned geography. Ensure that drivers are trained in compliance with DOT and Medline standards.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
- DOT Compliance – Partner with the compliance team to ensure compliance with all applicable DOT regulations, including driver qualification files, Hours of Service, driver inspections, and on‑road performance.
- Develop responses and action plans to USDOT interventions and safety audits as needed.
- Perform audits and inspections within the assigned region as required.
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Transportation or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities- Position requires approximately 40 % travel (within state and out of state).
- Ability to effectively speak before groups of team members and customers of Medline.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Job Requirements Experience
At least 1 year in a compliance or training role in a 100‑plus vehicle fleet.
At least 1 year of experience applying and implementing training programs in a fleet environment.
Class A CDL – preferred but not required.

SalaryThe anticipated salary range for this position: $73,840.00 – $ Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
