Early Childhood Assistant

Berkshire Waldorf School is seeking a part time Early Childhood Nap Assistant starting January 2027-June 2027. Ideally, candidates would have Waldorf teaching experience. Effective classroom management, communication, and the ability to collaborate are priorities. Classroom support and mentoring will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and pedagogically sound learning environment for our Early Childhood students ages 1.5-6 years.
• Cultivate joy, wonder, and curiosity in the classroom, fostering a positive relationship to learning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Waldorf Teacher Certificate and/or Bachelor of Education and/or current enrollment in a Waldorf accredited training program preferred
• Experience working professionally with young children
