A state hospital is seeking a Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is about 50 miles northwest of Great Bend, Kansas.

This position is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call, weekends, or overtime, in an inpatient 30-bed adult unit serving both male and female patients with average stays of up to 10 days. The psychiatrist will evaluate and manage adult patients referred by community mental health centers, provide medication management, oversee admissions and discharges, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care, on ongoing psychiatric care.

• Support Staff: FNPs, Medical Director, additional multidisciplinary team
