Physician – Family Medicine – Sports Medicine
Position SummaryThe University of Kansas Health System – Great Bend Campus is seeking a Family Medicine physician with Sports Medicine fellowship training to provide compassionate and comprehensive primary care, musculoskeletal, and sports-related services.
Responsibilities- Provide full-scope ambulatory Family Medicine and Sports Medicine care, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions and musculoskeletal injuries.
- Perform in‑office procedures such as joint and tendon injections, fracture management, and ultrasound‑guided interventions.
- Collaborate closely with primary care, orthopedics, and rehabilitation services to support comprehensive patient care.
- Call coverage is 1:5, and the role includes one day per week in the orthopedic clinic.
- MD, DO, or equivalent, board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine and fellowship trained or experienced in Sports Medicine.
- Eligibility for or hold a Kansas medical license. J‑1 Visa candidates are welcome to apply.

The University of Kansas Health System Great Bend Campus includes a 33‑bed, not‑for‑profit hospital providing short‑term acute care services along with orthopedic, obstetric, and surgical care units, radiology and an emergency department including Level IV trauma services. The medical pavilion, also located on the Great Bend Campus, provides specialty ambulatory care including obstetrics/gynecology, family medicine, general surgery and specialty clinics.
