Academic Coach

Overview

Join to apply for the Academic Coach role at Barton Community College. This is a 10-month, full-time position with some evening hours, reported to the Director of Student Academic Development.

The role focuses on helping students develop academic skills for collegiate success and supporting student engagement with the campus community.

• Coach students in one-on-one sessions, developing academic skills for collegiate success.
• Provide supplemental support to assigned courses.
• Facilitate Academic Development Center activities and study hall.
• Support student engagement within the campus community as needed.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of related or similar experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills; commitment to helping students learn.
