A growing urgent care clinic in Great Bend, KS is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its full-time team.
The RN/LPN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment, supporting providers and ensuring patients receive timely and efficient care.
Schedule
- Full-time, 12-hour shifts
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Work approximately 3 weekdays plus 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday per month
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and triage.
- Provide direct patient care in an urgent care setting.
- Administer medications safely.
- Assist providers with minor procedures.
- Perform wound care and other clinical treatments.
- Start IVs when permitted by licensure.
- Perform point-of-care testing.
- Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Support providers and the clinical team in delivering efficient patient care.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment with a variety of patient needs.
Requirements
- Current Kansas RN or LPN license or valid compact/multistate license.
- Minimum 1 year of RN or LPN experience.
- Urgent care, outpatient/ambulatory, or Medical-Surgical experience highly preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required upon hire.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
