Position Overview

A growing Family Medicine clinic in Great Bend, Kansas, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its outpatient healthcare team.

This is a permanent, full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering competitive hourly pay, weekday daytime hours, and benefits.

The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care to clinic patients, support healthcare providers, and help ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to outpatient clinic patients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assess patient needs and collect relevant clinical information.
• Monitor and interpret patient data within the scope of practice.
• Support physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Apply sound clinical judgment and appropriate nursing practices.
• Carry out delegated responsibilities and coordinate care with the clinical team.
• Recognize and communicate changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow applicable safety, infection-control, and clinical protocols.
• Deliver compassionate, professional care to patients of different ages and backgrounds.

Required Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN or LPN license, or an eligible compact nursing license.
• At least one year of RN or LPN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an outpatient clinical environment.

Preferred Qualification: Previous outpatient clinic experience.
