Days-based role, site-based (hours not specified) My client is seeking an Inventory Controller to maintain stock accuracy across a manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role focused on cycle counting, stock reconciliation, variance investigation, reporting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Duties Manage the cycle count programme within Oracle Cloud, including ABC classification and count scheduling. Carry out stock counts and maintain Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) above target.

Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and process stock adjustments. Reconcile bulk tank stock, work-in-progress, and material consumption against BOM standards. Monitor and resolve negative stock balances and MRP exceptions. Complete month-end inventory reconciliations and support annual stocktakes. Identify obsolete, expired, or damaged stock and prepare recommendations for review. Support audits and provide inventory reports and reconciliation evidence. Deliver inventory accuracy coaching and guidance to operational teams.

Requirements GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English. At least two years' inventory or stock control experience within manufacturing. Experience using ERP systems, ideally Oracle Cloud. Strong understanding of cycle counting, stock variance investigation, and inventory controls. Knowledge of BOMs, back flushing, and material consumption analysis. Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and reconciliations. Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
