Charge Nurse, Nurse Educator
We are seeking an experienced and competent nurse with sound clinical skills and strong leadership and management experience to join our Urgent Community Response, Out of Hours service.
You will provide clinical leadership, line management and support to the team, ensuring safe, effective and high-quality patient care.

Please note:
Candidates should be aware that approximately 60% of this role will involve working between 20:00 and 08:00, ensuring the team has sufficient clinical leadership and support throughout the Out of Hours period.
Flexibility will be required and candidates should be aware that the hours-of-service delivery are, 8pm-8am, 365 days per year, ensuring the team has sufficient clinical leadership and support throughout the Out of Hours period. It is expected that the role requires the successful candidate to have visibility during daytime working hours to attend (wider MDT discussions and meetings ) to support the operational management of the team.
Please note that the OOH team also operates form St James Clinic in Kings Lynn and rotational attendance to provide clinical leadership will be required.
Please note if you are an internal candidate that you would return to your original role after the 12 month secondment has ended.
Main duties of the job- To provide clinical expertise, clinical leadership and line management to staff working within Out of Hours.
- To support staff to achieve and ensure competencies are maintained within the services
- To contribute to the delivery of high standards of health care to patients within their own places of residence
- To ensure that Trust annual priorities and quality goals are embedded within the workforce by ensuring that all annual appraisals are complete within the team.
You will receive support and development through in-service training, regular appraisals and clinical supervision.
