Qualifications- Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record. BS in Engineering is required.
- Experience in gas distribution operations and/or 49 CFR Part 191 and 192 compliance preferred.
- Professional Engineer's License is a plus but not required.
- Ability to obtain Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) Certification.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
- Must be able to adapt to changing work requirements.
- A valid Driver's License or the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadline requirements.
- Must be organized and detail‑oriented.
- Practical working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Experience supporting and working with cross‑functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Get Into Energy - Energy Industry Fundamental 2.0 certification is a plus (getintoenergy.org).
- Engineering design and technical expertise in gas distribution engineering preferred.
- Provide guidance to gas distribution operations through engineering reviews and technical computations.
- Develop system strategies in gas distribution for operational program efficiencies and technical competency.
- Drive continuous improvement in gas distribution code compliance through proactive strategy development and implementation.
- Produce reports and technical documentation to ensure regulatory alignment across gas operations.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Apply advanced mathematical concepts and analyze and manipulate data.
- Overnight travel as required for business up to 20% of the time.

Full‑time position.
$64,800 to $139,300 per year, depending on experience.
