Job Overview
Benefis Health System is one of Montana’s largest and premier health systems. The Behavioral Health team is recruiting several Clinical Psychologists to provide a spectrum of care—including outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and acute psychiatric inpatient services—in Great Falls, Montana.
Clinical Psychologist Positions- Outpatient Psychology – Provide individual therapy and psychological evaluations for a wide range of psychiatric presenting problems. May also provide group therapy and family/couples therapy.
- Outpatient Neuropsychology – Conduct neuropsychological evaluations for adults, provide assessment feedback and education to patients and families, and consult with referral sources. Optionally manage a small therapy caseload; psychometrist support available.
- Health Psychology – Serve patients in various medical departments focusing on coping with chronic disease, managing difficult health conditions, and post‑surgery support. Duties include program development for an integrated model of care. Prior PCMH experience preferred.
- Integrated Psychology – Program development for an integrated model across departments. Strong preference for prior PCMH experience and program development.
- Program Coordinator – Clinical leadership of the intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs for adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Collaborate with psychiatrists, counselors, and provide individual therapy, run programming groups, perform psychological evaluations on the acute inpatient unit, and optionally see long‑term outpatient patients.
- Ph.D. or PsyD in Psychology with an APA‑approved clinical internship.
- One to two years of post‑doctoral fellowship (informal or formal).
- Holder of a Montana psychology license or eligible for Montana licensure.
- Full‑time, Monday‑Friday schedule; no evenings, weekends, or on‑call.
- Broad clinical assessment and brief intervention skills; interest in education of trainees.
