The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of residents in the skilled nursing setting, including Transitional Care Patients and Long Stay Residents. The RN ensures continuity of care between shifts by providing direct care and coordinating with CNAs, LPNs, and support staff.
The RN demonstrates the ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and adapt to changing situations. They must also effectively communicate with a variety of people, manage stressful situations, and handle conflict.
All job duties and tasks must be performed as assigned, following all regulations and procedures of licensing boards or agencies. Compliance with Benefis Health System policies and procedures is required.
Education/License/Experience Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Montana RN licensure.
- Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
