Avionics Technician – Great Falls, MN

Position for Avionics Technician  role is on‑site at Malmstrom AFB, Montana, supporting a fleet of MH‑139 aircraft.

This position focuses on avionics tasks while performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with United States Air Force approved maintenance procedures, Supplier approved Ground Operating Procedures (GOP) MH‑139A maintenance procedures, and other documented maintenance and support procedures. Training on the MH‑139 will be provided.

• Performs aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution.
• Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories.
• Performs preflight, thru‑flight, and post‑flight maintenance inspections.
• Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
• Cleans parts using cleaning solutions, polishing, and lapping compounds.
• Performs work under general supervision.
• Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

• Secret Clearance (interim Secret to start).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Technicians must have previous helicopter experience with a minimum of four (4) years aviation experience.
• Must be able to pass DOT ground support physical.
• Must obtain or possess a valid U.S. Passport.
• Valid Driver's License required.
