Pierce Leasing, a family-owned company with a century-long legacy in Montana, is looking for a dependable and skilled Class A CDL Driver/Set-Up Technician to join its dedicated team. This full-time, year-round position is essential to delivering and setting up leasing units for customers throughout Montana. Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver and pick up leasing units to and from customer work sites across Montana
  • Contact customers to confirm delivery and pick-up details, ensuring clear communication
  • Collaborate with customers to place units in desired locations according to their needs
  • Set up units, including multi-piece units, in accordance with contractual agreements and company standards
  • Travel to job sites as required, including overnight stays
  • Complete and submit all required company paperwork and logs in a timely manner
  • Stay current with DOT and CDL regulations to ensure compliance
  • Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any repair or maintenance needs
  • Monitor and communicate inspection, license, and certification renewals as needed
  • Adhere to all drive-time requirements and safety laws
  • Support the team and company operations by performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL and insurability
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission
  • At least one year of driving experience
  • Technical aptitude for construction-related tasks
  • General construction knowledge
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and priorities
  • Ability to meet DISA requirements for access to refinery locations
  • Excellent communication skills for positive customer interactions
  • Willingness and ability to travel to job sites, including overnight stays
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including winter and summer
