Our client is a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Worcestershire. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior to join their experienced Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a collaborative environment that offers hybrid working, flexible hours and genuine long-term progression.
The RoleAs a Mixed Tax Senior, you will take ownership of a portfolio of personal tax clients, providing an efficient and professional service while supporting the wider tax team with a range of compliance activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of approximately 330 personal tax clients.
- Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment Tax Returns.
- Responding to client queries and providing tax advice.
- Liaising with HMRC regarding tax codes, refunds and general enquiries.
- Reviewing Corporation Tax Returns.
- Assisting with the preparation of P11
Ds. - Preparing and submitting Capital Gains Tax Returns.
- Registering Trusts through the Trust Registration Service.
- Attending client meetings and discussing tax returns and related queries.
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Be ATT qualified or have equivalent tax experience.
- Have experience preparing Personal Tax Returns within an accountancy practice.
- Possess a good understanding of UK tax compliance.
- Have excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Be organised, accurate and able to manage a varied workload.
- Enjoy working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
