Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant Fully office based Malvern - £25,000 to £26,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Hewett Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established, medium-sized manufacturing business based in Malvern, to recruit a Finance Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive finance team where you can develop your skills and gain valuable experience.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with and providing cover for the purchase ledger
• Posting cashbook payments and receipts
• Completing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Processing employee expenses
• Supporting twice-monthly payment runs
• Maintaining key monthly spreadsheets, including credit note logs, manual pricing reports and mileage trackers
• Assisting with a variety of ad hoc finance duties

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and eager to learn.

You will have:

• Previous basic accounting experience
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
