About the role

As a Web Developer, you will play a key role in maintaining, improving and evolving our global web estate. Working within the Marketing Operations and Web team, you will help deliver an engaging, high‑performing and scalable digital experience across our websites and digital platforms. This is a broad, hands‑on role suited to someone with strong front‑end development expertise and experience working with CMS‑driven websites.

You will support both the day‑to‑day operation of our current web platform and our transition towards a more modern, headless, API‑driven architecture. Working closely with Marketing, UX, SEO, Analytics and Development teams, you will help build and maintain website functionality, improve performance and accessibility, and contribute to the future direction of our digital ecosystem. This role offers the opportunity to influence both the ongoing success of a global website and the evolution of our next‑generation digital platform.

What

you'll be doing
  • Build, maintain and enhance website components, templates and front‑end functionality across our global web estate
  • Maintain and evolve the front‑end design system, ensuring components are accessible, reusable and aligned to UX and brand standards
  • Support CMS‑driven websites and integrations within our current web platform while contributing to future architecture improvements
  • Help drive the transition towards modern headless and API‑driven web technologies, including React and Next.js‑based approaches
  • Manage day‑to‑day website operations, including redirects, forms, tracking updates, cookie management and production support
  • Improve website performance, accessibility, usability and overall technical quality through continuous optimisation
  • Support testing, QA, issue investigation and resolution across front‑end, CMS and integrated systems
  • Work closely with Marketing, UX, SEO, Analytics and Development teams to deliver effective and scalable digital experiences
About you
  • Strong front‑end development experience with excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
  • Experience working with CMS‑driven websites and enterprise content management platforms
  • Good understanding of responsive design, web accessibility, performance optimisation and modern development best practices
  • Experience developing and maintaining reusable component libraries and design systems
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Next.js
  • Understanding of headless CMS architectures, APIs and composable digital experiences
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrates curiosity, ownership, collaboration and a willingness to learn new technologies and approaches
