A prestigious family-owned company based in Cannock is looking for a Business Development Executive to join its well-established team.

This exciting role is office based and would suit candidates with a background in packaging or FMCG background.

• Research prospect companies to create warm leads
• Book meetings with decision makers using Telemarketing, emails, social media etc
• Attend initial appointments where necessary
• Attend Trade shows and exhibitions and follow up0 generated leads
• Attend regional drop-ins and networking events
• Execute direct marketing campaigns to decision makers
• Maintain the database and prospect pipeline to achieve sales targets

• Previous experience in a similar sales role
• Experience of the packaging for FMCG sector would be desirable
• Ability to deal with people professionally at all levels via telephone, face to face and email
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to work as a team and an individual
• Target driven
