Diagnostics Technician

Our client is a highly respected engineering organisation specialising in the design and manufacture of advanced electronic systems. Operating from a modern facility in Great Yarmouth, they support complex product development and manufacturing, delivering high‑quality solutions with a strong focus on engineering excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement.

• Diagnose and fault‑find electronic assemblies down to component level, including RF transmit/receive modules.
• Perform analysis using test equipment such as spectrum analysers, network analysers, and power meters.
• Support implementation of test setups and verification plans.
• Apply structured problem‑solving techniques to identify root cause of failures.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
• Analyse failure trends to improve yield, reliability, and quality.
• Support compliance, validation, and continuous improvement activities across diagnostics and production.

• HNC/HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in electronics diagnostics and PC‑board‑level fault finding.
• Proven ability to diagnose faults down to component level.
• Experience working within quality, compliance, or regulated environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a methodical and detail‑oriented approach.
