What's the role

Shell Southern North Sea is seeking an experienced Project Manager & Turnaround Coordinator to support the successful planning and delivery of offshore and onshore brownfield projects and turnaround (TAR) activities across the asset portfolio.

The role is responsible for coordinating project and turnaround activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and contractor teams, the role contributes to safe execution and reliable asset performance.

Safety and Goal Zero remain the highest priorities, followed by operational reliability, asset integrity, cost effectiveness, and delivery excellence.

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Goal Zero and Shell's HSSE standards.
• Promote safe working practices throughout project and TAR activities.
• Support risk identification, hazard management, and implementation of mitigation measures.
• Participate in safety initiatives, audits, site visits, and lessons learned activities.
• Act in accordance with Shell values and behavioural expectations.

• Support the planning and delivery of brownfield projects and turnaround scopes.
• Coordinate project activities to ensure delivery against approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Contribute to turnaround planning, preparation, readiness reviews, and execution activities.
• Monitor progress and escalare emerging risks, issues, or schedule impacts as appropriate.
• Support commissioning, start-up, handover, and close-out activities.
• Ensure project documentation and deliverables are completed in accordance with company requirements.

• Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure project and TAR activities are effectively integrated into asset plans.
• Support work scope definition and prioritisation processes.
• Assist with readiness reviews and operational handover activities.
• Minimise operational disruption through effective planning and coordination.

• Build effective working relationships with:
  Operations teams
• Maintenance teams
• Engineering teams
• Contractors and vendors
• Functional specialists and Technical Authorities

Participate in project and turnaround meetings, providing progress updates and status reporting.

Support communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment of delivery objectives.

• Maintain project schedules, action trackers, risk registers, and progress reports.
• Support project controls and cost tracking activities.
• Participate in lessons learned reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning, execution, and work processes.
• Contribute to the development of project and turnaround documentation and procedures.

• Experience in project delivery, maintenance execution, engineering, or turnaround management within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or energy industry.
• Familiarity with brownfield modifications and offshore operations is desirable.
• Knowledge of:
