Role Overview
This role will consist of transcribing digital dictation in relation to outpatient clinic letters and other documentation as required for the patient pathway. Administrative duties will also be required to provide support to the medical secretaries and clinical teams as required.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the Renal Service through administration processes and audio typing (date order). Provide secretarial support to the medical secretaries and clinical teams.
Qualifications- Good levels of communication skills.
- Excellent touch typing/word processing skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good basic IT skills and experience working within an admin role are essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage.
- Putting patients first.
- Aiming to get it right.
- Recognising that everybody counts.
- Doing everything openly and honestly.
