ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER, COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION This position is based out of a project site in Norfolk, VA and our Upper Marlboro, MD office.

Responsible to coordinate field staff and assist project managers in managing all construction processes to ensure project quality, schedule, cost control, safety and customer satisfaction objectives are met or exceeded, in alignment with all procedures, key objectives and regulations. This position assembles, organizes, and maintains all documentation needed for timely project commissioning and closeout activities. This position will work directly with Project Managers and Superintendents to help plan, coordinate, and deliver complex electrical and industrial projects safely, on time, and within budget.

• Support project setup, scheduling, and procurement activities.
• Track submittals, RFIs, and change orders with accuracy.
• Assist with project cost management, labor tracking, and documentation.
• Coordinate with field teams, clients, and subcontractors to maintain progress and resolve issues.
• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to identify risks or conflicts.
• Participate in jobsite meetings and safety walks.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction (electrical experience preferred).
• Understanding of construction documents, schedules, and cost controls.
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
