Position: Licensed Trauma Therapist (EMDR)

Salary: $81,120 and up. Commuter stipend for full‑time clinicians, up to $400 /month.

Schedule:

8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday with an occasional weekend day rotation every 4–6 weeks.

Pay Minimum

USD $81,120.00 per year.

Pay Maximum

USD $43.00 per year.

Responsibilities

The on‑site EMDR Clinical Therapist is responsible for performing patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director. The clinician will manage a caseload, provide EMDR therapy to referred clients, occasionally conduct bi‑psychosocial assessments and group, individual, and family therapy as needed, collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan and assist in coordinating discharge planning, and maintain communication with families, referral sources, and other service providers.

Job Duties
  • Provides EMDR, individual, family, and group therapy to assigned patients following the program curriculum.
  • Completes required documentation ensuring compliance with company policies, state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and Medical Needs Criteria. Includes Biopsychosocial Assessment, Integrated Summary, Comprehensive Problem List, Integrated Master Treatment Plan and Updates, session notes, discharge summary.
  • Uses therapeutic interventions to assist patients in accomplishing treatment goals and successfully completing treatment.
  • Prepares patients for maintaining sobriety/recovery post‑discharge.
  • Maintains reference contact weekly or as required.
  • Demonstrates comprehension of mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Identifies department improvement areas, develops and implements plans for improvement and outcomes.
Other Required Tasks
  • Maintains positive relationships with all staff.
  • Participates effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews.
  • Maintains healthy boundaries with patients and staff.
  • Asks for and accepts feedback from supervisors.
  • Provides a safe and therapeutic environment for all staff and patients.
  • Communicates significant patient developments to the supervisor.
  • Participates in quality improvement activities and contributes to the organization’s success.
  • Pursues professional development through participation in education and training programs.
  • Contributes positively to the morale of other staff.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
