Primary PurposeSupervise the day‑to‑day warehouse / storeroom operations and ensure effective implementation of processes designed to control inventory. Directly supervise warehouse storeroom employees. Note: onsite position; employees must be in office 5 days per week.
Must reside & sit within Pepco service territories in the Rockville, DC & Upper Marlboro area. Occasional travel between these locations will be required.
Primary Duties- Implement initiatives to assure the highest levels of warehouse, retail site, and delivery services, including scheduled and emergency requests to meet Exelon's reliability and customer satisfaction goals. (20%)
- Support client‑focused interface with customers to align inventory management processes with work planning and CM material needs. (15%)
- Supervise warehouse management processes including material pick, issue, staging and return, transportation to retail sites, open and working stock, cycle count, in‑storage maintenance, and shelf life management. (35%)
- Supervise the pole delivery process, including daily monitoring and stocking of pole bunkers, safe delivery to job sites, and return to inventory as needed. (20%)
- Support balancing cost control with client needs to meet service, cost, and asset management goals. (10%)
- Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned.
- Provide support for inventory management process execution, including distribution for major facilities, remote job sites, and emergency warehouses to support reliability and customer satisfaction goals.
- Impact external customer satisfaction in terms of service reliability (outage duration and frequency).
- Supervise supply warehouse and shop employees.
- Direct interface with business unit clients representing various departments.
- Travel on average 50% across Exelon sites and business units as business needs dictate.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science or related field with 4‑7 years' experience, or high school diploma or equivalent with 6‑9 years of experience.
- Working knowledge of the Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules of Passport (Purchasing, Contracts, and Action Tracking).
- 2‑3 years of supervisory experience.
- Warehouse experience (inventory management).
- Annual salary: $82,400.00‑$ per year.
- Annual bonus for eligible positions: 15%
