As you start your day, you immerse yourself in tax compliance, preparing and filing federal, state, and local tax returns while reviewing third‑party work for accuracy. You stay updated on tax law changes and are ready to assist with audits or inquiries from tax authorities. Additionally, you manage the application and renewal of business licenses and permits, coordinating with regulatory agencies to resolve any issues.

Collaborating with IT and finance teams, you ensure the integrity of compliance software and provide training to staff. You create educational sessions for operational personnel and help develop internal controls, preparing documentation for audits and compliance reports for management, all while identifying potential tax savings for the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting
• Proficient with MS Office products, especially Excel spreadsheets
• Understanding of various tax rules and business licensing requirements at the federal, state, and local levels
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Strong research and attention to detail skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Tax and compliance experience is preferred
